TREACHERY CAMP SEAL ROCKS

Public BBQ

Treachery Camp at Seal Rocks sits precariously between paradise and purgatory, depending entirely on your tolerance for adventure. The approach involves several kilometres of dirt road that could charitably be described as "character-building," though the campground itself improves matters considerably. The shower facilities deliver water pressure with therapeutic enthusiasm, while unmarked camping areas sprawl across naturally beautiful terrain where wildlife encounters - dingoes, snakes, and goannas - provide regular entertainment. Staff member Jon has achieved legendary status for exceptional hospitality. The location's appeal varies dramatically: surfers find paradise, while families seeking tranquil camping might be deterred by the party atmosphere extending past midnight. Summer brings mosquitoes, midges, and limited airflow. Yet for those drawn to beach access, fishing, and campfires, Treachery Camp delivers an undeniably authentic coastal experience.
